As a child, Zach was very much into rhythm, banging on pots and pans before getting his first drum set at the age of four.  He began playing percussion at his church in New York at the age of eight.  It was during these sessions that he learned about being in a band and playing your part and collaborating so that the music sounds great.

Zach got accepted to the Berklee College of Music in 2010 and since then has played in numerous recording sessions, helped out fellow students with their gigs, recorded a few short instrumentals, and perfomed several times at the Berklee Performance Center. He had the opportunity to perform in the Foo Fighter’s studio in California in front of Roger Taylor, the drummer for the legendary rock band Queen. He has also performed on stage with the likes of Sieddah Garrett, Patti Austin, and Meshell Ndegeocello.

Zach will be graduating from Berklee in May 2014 and from there will continue to perform and reach his goal of being one of the most in-demand drummers around!
